How MLB picks work: For each game, we normalize odds across DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, and Caesars to remove the vig, then compute the consensus implied probability. When one book’s price implies a probability that’s at least 3% lower than the cross-book consensus, that’s the value bet. The edge shown is the gap between consensus fair value and the book’s posted price.
- Moneyline — best team to win outright
- Run line — best spread bet (usually ±1.5)
- Total — best over/under on combined runs
